Trade turnover between Ukraine and Poland may be increased at least threefold

Potential for economic cooperation between Ukraine and Poland allows to increase trade turnover at least threefold.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Ukraine Henryk Litwin said this at the round-table meeting in Kyiv on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"If to look at the economic potential of our countries and try to calculate what the trade turnover should be, I think it may be three times as big as today," the diplomat said.
According to him, the conflict in Donbas does not favor the trade and investment cooperation between Ukraine and the foreign partners, but many of the Polish businessmen on the contrary are now trying to implement their projects in the Ukrainian market.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, the volume of foreign trade in goods and services between Ukraine and Poland amounted to USD 6.57 billion in 2014.
