Leader of the public organization "People's trust" Serhiy Shakhov said that Russia does not care about the Minsk agreements - it is preparing a new offensive. He said this on air of 112 Ukraine television channel, Ukrinform reports. "The Minsk agreements, signed a few months ago, are completely ignored by the occupants. Every day, we see that Russia's signature under these agreements does not have any value. All the heavy weapons, allegedly withdrawn by Russia, remained in the ATO area. This fact alone suggests that in spring the aggressor will start attacking with renewed vigor," Shakhov said. According to him, the Ukrainian army must prepare for new active actions of the aggressor, "only those men who are honestly and conscientiously ready to defend Ukraine should remain in battalions. All of them, in my opinion, must begin to act concurrently, obey and carry out the orders of the Defense Ministry and the president," the activist says. He also said that in the territories, uncontrolled by the Ukrainian government, militants suffocate the resistance of the local population. "In the city of Brianka, Luhansk region, locals went to the mass protest due to the lack of food. Separatists broke it up, literally, by opening fire on hungry people," Shakhov said.
