Lithuanian Defense Minister Juozas Olekas wrote in his article for 15min.lt, Europeiska Pravda reports. According to him, the Russian propaganda "works around the clock." "It probably knows no equals in terms of insolence. But the truth comes to the surface sooner or later," Olekas wrote.
"For instance, the Russian president openly and straightly said in the documentary dedicated to the annexation of Crimea, that the occupation and annexation of the peninsula was a pre-planned military operation, in which he personally took the key decisions," he said.
"The juicy details of the operation depicting how the Ukrainian Armed Forces had been blocked were also shown there. It was confirmed that the notorious "little green men" were none other than the Russian Special Forces," the Minister of Defense stressed. He also expressed the hope that eventually the public will witness more open stories about the role of the Russian armed forces in the military operations in eastern Ukraine. "They leave traces there which are much more evident than in Crimea," Olekas noted.
