The group's Hungary-based arm will establish an operating base in Kyiv with one Airbus A320 initially operating eight routes, Travel Weekly reports.
A second Airbus A320 currently based in Kyiv will be redeployed to a new operating base in Kosice, Slovakia.
It will operate new routes to Milan Bergamo and Sheffield-Doncaster in early June.
The group's Ukrainian subsidiary, Wizz Air Ukraine, will discontinue operations.
The eastern European carrier said it "stands ready for expansion as and when market conditions improve". It stated that current obstacles include conflict in East Ukraine, devaluation, currency instability and currency exchange control.
The details emerged today in Wizz Air Holdings first trading update since its initial public offering earlier this month.
It confirmed that the group traded well through the fourth quarter and that its revenue and profit performance for the year ending March 31, 2015 is forecast to be in-line with the board's expectations.
