"Interior Ministry is to toughen control over the rightful owners of hunting firearms. Carrying firearms in public places is allowed only to employees of the state security services. None of the private security companies have the right to firearms under the laws of Ukraine," he wrote.
"I warn the security companies - reveled facts of combining licensed security functions and using weapons registered as a hunting will be terminated as an illegal action. Such security companies and individuals will be punished - revocation of the license for security activity for businesses; withdrawal of the hunting weapon license and confiscation of weapons for private persons," the head of the Interior Ministry said.
"There will be no armed security groups of businessmen and politicians wandering in city streets with fire arms. This applies to all - quasi-"patriots" and real patriots, big businessmen and oligarchs. And personally Kolomoiskyi, Pinchuk, Akhmetov, Yeremieiev, Surkis , Hryhoryshyn and others.. You want security for your business with firearms? Strictly according to the law - you attract police state security service. Other things will be terminated," he added.
"I give all security companies 24 hours - to abandon double-triple treatments, to bring their activities to flawlessness, in accordance with the letter of the law. Citing troubled war times will not justify the violation, but aggravate it," Avakov summed up.
Earlier, President Poroshenko instructed to disarm all persons in the building of Ukrnafta.
