Turkey supports Ukraine in an effort to invite the UN peacekeeping mission

Turkey supports Ukraine's efforts regarding the deployment of the UN peacekeeping mission in the Donbas.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko after talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"I would like to particularly thank the president for his support of Ukraine in an effort to invite the UN peacekeeping mission to de-escalate the situation in the East of Ukraine," he said.
