Ukraine is technically prepared for synchronization of Ukraine's power system with the European Network of Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E) in 2023.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said during an hour of questions to Government held in Parliament on Friday, February 18, an Ukrinform correspondent reported. "Technically, we are almost 100% prepared for Ukraine to join Europe's energy system in 2023," Shmyhal said. According to the official, the dates for operation of Ukraine’s power system in an isolated mode in February may be adjusted, but plans for such test operation remain in force. He noted that according to World Bank experts, synchronization would bring Ukraine $1.5 billion in additional revenues annually. Moreover, Ukraine's integration into ENTSO-E will demonopolize the energy market, ensure modernization, decarbonization, and ensure energy independence. Отправить в:      другие новости
