14 of February 2022 г.
The Japanese government has said that the country will evacuate most of its embassy staff in Ukraine.
Ukrinform reports this with reference to Kyodo. It is noted that the number of embassy staff to stay Ukraine is expected to be reduced to less than 10, including Japanese Ambassador to Ukraine Kuninori Matsuda. According to the report, the decision to evacuate most of the staff was approved on Sunday, following reports of a possible Russian invasion. In addition, on Friday, the Japanese Foreign Ministry recommended its citizens to leave Ukraine and informed in an email sent by the embassy that its function will be further limited from Monday since "only a few" personnel will remain in the country. As Ukrinform reported, Australia said it was evacuating its embassy in Kyiv as the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian border deteriorated quickly due the build-up of Russia's troops there. другие новости
