"This decision was made in December, and today [January 10] it came into force at the EU level. And we are also preparing to make the same decision at the level of Ukrainian legislation. It will be adopted approximately this week. COVID vaccination certificates will be valid for 270 days, not one year," Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine Maria Karchevych said on the air of 1+1 TV channel - Ukrinform.
The deputy minister also said that Ukraine was about to join the global network of COVID documents covering more than 80 countries. Ukraine is now part of the EU network of 60 countries, and Ukrainians have the opportunity to travel to these countries by presenting digital certificates of vaccination, recovery, or tests.
"Ukraine has already sent a request to join the global network, technical consultations are currently underway," Karchevych said.
