 NewsRSSZelensky signs law allocating UAH 8B to fully vaccinated Ukrainians

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a law providing for the allocation of UAH 8 billion from Ukraine's state budget for 2021 to pay UAH 1,000 to all Ukrainians who were fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the parliament's website.
The law provides for an additional increase of UAH 5 billion in the expenditures of the general fund of the state budget under the new budget program "The provision of assistance under the eSupport program." It also increases by UAH 2.2 billion the expenditures of the general fund of the state budget under the budget program "Measures related to the fight against the acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and its consequences." These expenditures are to be covered at the expense of UAH 10.2 billion worth of value added tax revenues from goods imported into the customs territory of Ukraine.
