NewsRSSOver 40,000 children over age of 12 vaccinated for COVID-19 in Ukraine
19 of November 2021 г.
More than 40,000 children over the age of 12 have already been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine, Health Minister Viktor Liashko has said.
According to Ukrinform, he said this at a briefing in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday, November 19. "More than 40,000," Liashko said when asked about the number of children vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine in October approved the recommendations of the National Technical Group of Immunization Experts regarding the inoculation of adolescents aged 12 and over against COVID-19. It is recommended that those 12 years old and older be vaccinated with Comirnaty vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech. For them, this vaccine is used according to the same scheme as for adults - two doses of 0.3 ml with an interval of 21-28 days. In order to vaccinate a child aged 12 years and older against the coronavirus disease, the child, his or her parents or guardians must provide the vaccinating doctor with documents confirming that the child has all routine vaccinations in accordance with the National Vaccination Calendar (Form 063/o). If the child has not received all the necessary routine vaccinations and has no contraindications, he or she should get those vaccine shots and then be able to be vaccinated against COVID-19. другие новости
