On October 30, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Luhansk, Khmelnytskyi, Chernihiv and Lviv regions will move into the red zone of epidemiological danger, according to Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov.
"On behalf of Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, I held a meeting of the Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies,” Chernyshov wrote on Facebook, Ukrinform reports. According to Chernyshov, the epidemiological situation in Ukraine is difficult and the number of hospitalizations is growing. "However, statistics also clearly show that vaccination saves from the severe course of the disease. In the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, priorities remain the same - strengthening anti-epidemic measures, increasing the number of tests and raising the rate of vaccination," Chernyshov added. As Ukrinform reported, on October 15, Kherson region moved into the red zone of COVID-19 restrictions. On October 18, the red level of epidemiological danger was introduced in Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, and from October 23 – in Sumy region. On October 26, Rivne and Mykolaiv regions also moved into the red zone of COVID-19 restrictions. другие новости
