The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has started a virtual mission to Ukraine, according to Bloomberg.
"The IMF mission, led by Ivanna Vladkova Hollar, starts its work today," said Vahram Stepanyan, the head of the IMF's Ukrainian office. No date for when the review is supposed to end was given. Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko suggested earlier that an 18-month Stand-By Arrangement with the IMF could be extended for six months. On June 9, 2020, the IMF approved a new 18-month SBA for Ukraine worth about $5 billion with the immediate disbursement of $2.1 billion as the first tranche. The IMF completed a virtual mission to Ukraine for the first review of the SBA in mid-February without any recommendation about when to issue a next tranche. другие новости
