 NewsRSSUkraine plans to conclude visa-free regime with Mauritius – Kuleba

On August 26, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved an order on the signing of an agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Mauritius on mutual abolition of visa requirements, prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine - Ukrinform.
This is the first step towards the introduction of a visa-free regime, after which Ukraine and Mauritius must sign an agreement and carry out a number of internal procedures. “We are working on further expanding freedom of travel for Ukrainians,” Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba noted. The draft agreement provides for the introduction of a visa-free regime for mutual travel of citizens of Ukraine and the Republic of Mauritius for up to 90 days within 180 days. The conclusion of visa-free travel will help intensify interpersonal contacts and further develop partnerships with the Republic of Mauritius. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to work systematically to expand freedom of travel for Ukrainians, which is an important element of Ukraine's foreign policy strategy.
