Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has invited Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod to conclude an agreement on the mutual recognition of COVID-19 vaccination documents, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has said - Ukrinform.
According to the report, the ministers met in Vilnius on July 7 on the sidelines of the Ukraine Reform Conference. Kuleba thanked the Danish government for the decision to provide Ukraine with 500,000 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, the report said. He invited his Danish counterpart conclude an agreement between the two countries on the mutual recognition of vaccination certificates and COVID certificates to facilitate travel. "The ministers welcomed the launch of the Danish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Copenhagen, which will help increase trade and investment. Kofod supported Kuleba's proposal to hold a business forum in the near future," the report said. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that both ministers had separately discussed support for anti-corruption reform in Ukraine, strengthening the country's defense capabilities, modernizing the energy sector and introducing renewable energy sources. "The parties paid special attention to opposing the implementation of the geopolitical project Nord Stream 2," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry added.
