NewsRSSShmyhal explains what is needed for success of anti-corruption reform
15 of June 2021 г.
It is necessary to implement three vectors of institutional change for the success of anti-corruption reform: reducing the state's share in the economy, developing market relations and creating new competitive markets, reforming fiscal and regulatory agencies.
"The three vectors of institutional change for the success of anti-corruption reform are reducing the state's share in the economy, developing market relations and creating new competitive markets, reforming fiscal and regulatory agencies," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said at the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. Economy without Oligarchs", an Ukrinform correspondent reports. In 2020, the budget received twice as much money as over past two years due to the successful start of "small-scale privatization", he noted. "We have a large-scale privatization planned for this year. Seven large facilities will be sold," Shmyhal added. He noted that open and transparent privatization helped obsolete enterprises receive investment and helped communities receive new jobs. At the same time, strategic enterprises, which will remain state-owned, will be corporatized. The Government expects that the redistribution of gross domestic product through budget revenues will decrease from 23.8% to 21.6% in three years. другие новости
