The COVID-19-associated hospitalization rates (60 per 100,000 people) are exceeded in 11 regions: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions.
As of April 27, the highest COVID-19-associated hospitalization rates were recorded in Khmelnytskyi region – 95.5 per 100,000, Sumy region – 77.3, and Cherkasy region – 74.8. In Kyiv city, this rate amounted to 53.5.
As of April 27, the highest occupancy rates for oxygen-supplied beds were registered in Donetsk region – 67% (with the established capacity set at 65%). In Kyiv city, this rate amounted to 55.6%.
