Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this at a government meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The price of electricity for the population remains at UAH 1.68 per kWh. The government extends the regime of PSO [Public Service Obligations] until June 30. In addition, under the new rules, the state-owned companies Energoatom and Ukrhydroenerho will sell electricity directly to universal service suppliers under bilateral agreements, without an intermediary in the form of SE Guaranteed Buyer,” said Shmyhal.
As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers earlier kept the price of electricity for household consumers at UAH 1.68 per kWh after March 31, 2021.
