The deliveries of COVID-19 vaccines and the number of vaccinated people will grow in Ukraine this month; in particular, first supplies under the COVAX Facility are expected in the middle of April - Ukrinform.
These issues were discussed at a special meeting dedicated to the fight against COVID-19, which took place under the chairmanship of President Volodymyr Zelensky, according to the website of the President's Office. "The Ministry of Health reported that the first deliveries under the COVAX Facility are expected in the middle of the current month. A new batch of the Chinese drug Sinovac is also expected," reads the report. At the meeting, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that the growth rate of coronavirus patients had slowed down. In particular, the situation in Ivano-Frankivsk region has improved – the number of hospital discharges exceeds the number of hospitalizations.
