He stated this at a traditional online meeting on preventing the spread of coronavirus infection held at the President's Office on Monday, January 25, according to the presidential press service. Zelensky said the vaccination program in Ukraine should contain a detailed plan for every region. "We need to determine the number of vaccines, the clear timing of vaccination, a list of categories of the population that should get vaccinated in the first place. A vaccine management and logistics system must also be set up," he said. In addition, the situation with those who have already contracted COVID-19 should be analyzed to determine when this category of people should be vaccinated. At the same time, the President's Office said that negotiations on the purchase of the vaccine were in the final stage and the Ukrainian side positively assessed the results of the negotiations. Vaccination in Ukraine is expected to begin in February. Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said that it would be conducted by mobile teams during the first stage.
