“The reform of the coal industry is necessary for the most efficient use of public funds allocated from the state budget to support coal mining enterprises and attract private investors. The ministry has prepared some proposals for the reform aimed at improving the current state of the industry and giving impetus to its further development in line with strategic goals of the state,” reads a report.
The document will be represented at a meeting of the Coordination Center for the Transformation of Coal Regions of Ukraine next week, the ministry added.
