Ukraine, Poland, and Lithuania create a new format of cooperation named "Lublin Triangle."
“Today we create the ‘Lublin Triangle.’ This format will be an important element of the development and strengthening of Central Europe and the strengthening of Ukraine as a full-fledged member of the European and Euro-Atlantic family of nations,” Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said at a joint press conference with his Polish and Lithuanian counterparts in Lublin, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. He thanked Poland and Lithuania for their consistent support for Ukraine on its path towards membership in the European Union and NATO and in the implementation of reforms. Kuleba stressed that the countries had been already cooperating within the Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade but noted that the new format would expand cooperation. According to him, cooperation will not be limited to security issues, it will also cover economy, trade, investment, tourism, infrastructure, “everything that can unite our countries even more, make Central Europe even stronger and make Europe more powerful.” “The Lublin Triangle format will focus on deepening cooperation between our countries, but we also see great prospects for the Lublin Triangle to become a tool for inviting the countries that need closer contacts with the West, with European structures, and my colleagues and I will help our neighbors, our friends to interact more actively in this area,” Kuleba emphasized. As reported, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba makes a working visit to Poland on July 27-28. другие новости
