LOT Polish Airlines has launched flights on the Warsaw-Lviv-Warsaw route, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, these flights are not yet available to tourists.
"LOT Airlines launched flights on the Warsaw-Lviv-Warsaw route. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, these flights are not yet available to tourists," Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Kryklii wrote on Facebook - Ukrinform. He added that the route can be used by foreigners, diplomats, citizens of Ukraine with residence permits in the EU and with work contracts, and transit travelers. According to Kryklii, the flights will soon be available to Ukrainians travelling for tourism. "The pandemic will be a thing of the past, and we will be able to enjoy visa-free travel again," he said. As reported, the Government introduced quarantine in Ukraine on March 12 to combat the spread of coronavirus infection. In particular, the operation of subways in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipro was suspended, as well as the operation of ground transport in the cities.
