 NewsRSSPM Shmyhal wants diplomats to promote Ukrainian exports abroad

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal plans to involve domestic diplomats, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the promotion of Ukrainian exports to foreign markets.
“We are working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to slightly change the direction of the diplomatic service of Ukraine abroad. We will focus our diplomats on promoting Ukrainian exports. This is a kind of reform. Promotion of Ukrainian exports to global markets will become one of the key performance indicators (KPI) of Ukrainian diplomats,” Shmyhal said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine. According to him, attracting foreign investment in Ukraine may become another KPI. “Exports abroad, investments into the country, and imports will come to Ukraine thanks to foreign diplomats,” the prime minister said. As Ukrinform reported, on May 21, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba held a constituent meeting of the updated Council of Exporters and Investors at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
