11 of March 2020 г.
Due to the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus in Italy, the Ukraine International Airlines will suspend Kyiv-Venice flights until April 12 and will take Ukrainians home via flights from Rome and Milan.
"Due to the COVID-19 control measures introduced on WHO recommendation by the authorities of some countries, the Ukraine International Airlines changes the flight schedule on a number of routes. The airline has decided to suspend Kyiv-Venice flights between March 12 and April 12. The passengers will be able to leave Italy via scheduled UIA flights from Rome and Milan which will be operated to return Ukrainians to the homeland," the UIA’s press service reports. It is stated that travelers, who have to travel from Venice to Rome or another city for leaving to Ukraine, will need to download and fill out a special declaration. Also, in response to the new Israel entry rules, the UIA adjusts its flight schedule from Ukrainian cities to Tel Aviv. In particular, the Odesa - Tel Aviv flights (except March 18 and 25) and Dnipro - Tel Aviv flights will be canceled on March 12 - April 8; Kharkiv - Tel Aviv flights will be canceled from March 15 to April 8. Kyiv - Tel Aviv flights will be operated twice a day. Passengers of Dnipro - Tel Aviv flights will be offered an alternative flight via Kyiv. In addition, the UIA will temporarily halt the operation of Kyiv - Izmir (Turkey) flights. Due to the reduced demand, Odesa-Istanbul flights will not be operated until April 1. From March 13 - April 7, the UIA will operate one Kyiv-London flight a day. Changes will also be made in the domestic flight program. Until April 8, the second frequencies on the routes between Kyiv and Kherson, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Zaporizhzhia will be canceled. другие новости
