Mines will not be closed or liquidated until their employees get another job, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said.
He said this during an all-Ukrainian meeting of coal workers on Tuesday, February 25, according to an Ukrinform correspondent. "No mine can be closed or liquidated until people get a new job, secure and decent pay. First, new jobs for these people, and only then we will start talking about something else," Zelensky said.
