The Ukrainian prime minister has said that Ukraine hopes for a special format of partnership within the framework of the Eastern Partnership initiative, and emphasized on the interest of the state in signing the ACAA (Agreement on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products) - the agreement on the so-called “industrial free visa regime”, which will be a significant step on the path of Ukraine towards European integration.

Christian Danielsson, in turn, said that it is important for the European Commission to study this issue for further negotiations and the conclusion of the ACAA. The parties agreed to discuss the implementation of this process later.

The Ukrainian prime minister also called on the European Union to invest in the seaports of Mariupol and Berdiansk.

He also thanked the Honorable Guest for the support the European Union provided to Ukraine and expressed the commitment to further strengthening the EU-Ukraine bilateral relations.
