A draft agreement on the mutual recognition and exchange of driving licenses between Ukraine and Austria has been forwarded to the Austrian side.
This issue was discussed at a meeting between Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and Austrian Ambassador to Ukraine Gernot Pfandler, the Interior Ministry's press service reported. "Arsen Avakov stressed the need to continue active cooperation between our countries and expressed his hope to sign an agreement on the mutual recognition and exchange of driving licenses between Ukraine and Austria in the near future. The draft has been forwarded to the Austrian side," the report reads. During the meeting, the Austrian side expressed its appreciation for the active and successful participation of the Interior Ministry in holding an international special operation called "Mozart," which was aimed at neutralizing a transnational criminal group engaged in the legalization of funds obtained from cybercrime. Pfandler noted effective cooperation between Ukraine and Austria within Interpol, as well as through the EU Advisory Mission (EUAM) Ukraine. Отправить в:      другие новости
