CoE Commissioner for Human Rights Mijatovic is going to visit Crimea, timeframe not defined yet

Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatović is going to visit Crimea but the timeframe and conditions of the visit have not been determined yet.
"The Commissioner is still planning a visit, but as she stated on June 11, 2019, ‘there are many issues that need to be clarified for me to conduct human rights activities on the peninsula," Commissioner’s spokesperson Stefano Montanari told an Ukrinform correspondent in Strasbourg.
At the same time, according to Russian media, the CoE Commissioner for Human Rights reportedly plans to stay in Crimea this week.
It should be noted that according to the national legislation of Ukraine and international law, it is legal to enter the territory of the occupied Crimea only through the administrative border in Ukraine.
