The SMM observed weapons in violation of their respective withdrawal lines in government-controlled areas of Donetsk region and on both sides of the contact line in Luhansk region, including at the former Luhansk international airport.
The OSCE SMM informed this in a report, based on information received as of 19:30, September 29, 2019.
On September 28, at former Luhansk international airport, about 2km north of Peremozhne (19km south of Luhansk), an OSCE patrol observed seven multiple launch rocket systems (BM21 Grad, 122mm), a self-propelled howitzer (2S3 Akatsiya, 152mm), seven self-propelled howitzers (2S1 Gvozdika, 122mm), seven towed howitzers (2A65 Msta-B, 152mm), 11 towed howitzers (D-30 Lyagushka, 122mm), an anti-tank gun (BS-3, 100mm), three anti-tank guns (MT-12 Rapira, 100mm), as well as 22 tanks (nine T-72 and 13 T-64) and seven surface-to-air missile systems (9K35 Strela-10).
In total, the Mission observed 60 weapons in violation of withdrawal lines, 21 in government-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and 39 in non-government-controlled areas of Luhansk region. The SMM also observed 35 weapons beyond their withdrawal lines but outside storage sites, two in government-controlled areas of Donetsk region and 33 in non-government-controlled areas of Luhansk region.
