NSDC Secretary Danylyuk tenders resignation

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Danylyuk tendered his resignation before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky left for the United States, the Office of the President has reported on Telegram.
"As for reports about Oleksandr Danylyuk's resignation as secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, we announce that Oleksandr Danylyuk submitted a respective statement to the president of Ukraine prior before the beginning of Volodymyr Zelensky's working visit to the United States to attend the 74th session of the UN General Assembly. The president will consider it upon return to Kyiv," the report reads.
Earlier, some media reported, citing their own sources, that NSDC Secretary Danylyuk had submitted a statement of resignation. According to media reports, Danylyuk may become Ukraine's ambassador to the United Kingdom.
Danylyuk was appointed NSDC secretary on May 28.
