Hot weather raises extreme fire danger in some regions of Ukraine

On August 23-27, extreme level of fire hazard is expected in some regions of Ukraine.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has reported this with a reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center - Ukrinform.
“On August 23-27, extreme (5 class) level of fire hazard is expected in Ukraine. On August 23, high (4 class) level of fire hazard will prevail in Lviv region and mountainous areas of Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions,” reads the report.
In addition, extreme (5 class) level of fire hazard is expected in Kyiv city and Kyiv region.
