 NewsRSSOSCE SMM records Grad multiple launch rocket systems and tank in occupied Donbas

On August 12, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) recorded 8 Grad multiple launch rocket systems, a tank and dozens of armoured combat vehicles in the occupied Donbas.
“On August 12, an SMM long-range UAV again spotted eight multiple launch rocket systems (BM-21, Grad, 122mm) near Sadovyi (57km south-west of Luhansk). An SMM mini-UAV spotted a tank (T-64) in a residential area on the eastern edge of Novohryhorivka (61km north-east of Donetsk),” reads the OSCE SMM report based on information received as of 19:30, 13 August 2019. The SMM also spotted weapons “beyond withdrawal lines but outside of designated storage sites” in occupied Donbas. “On August 11, aerial imagery available to the SMM revealed the presence of 18 tanks and four surface-to-air missile systems (types undetermined) in a training area near Buhaivka (37km south-west of Luhansk),” the report reads. In the same area, aerial imagery revealed also the presence of 63 armoured combat vehicles. Presence of 18 self-propelled howitzers or mortars and 29 towed howitzers or mortars was recorded in a training area near Buhaivka. Отправить в:      другие новости
