Russia bans exports of oil and petroleum products to Ukraine

The Russian government has banned exports of Russian oil and petroleum products to Ukraine.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev stated this at a meeting of the Russian cabinet on Thursday, TASS news agency reports.
"[The Russian government] bans exports of Russian oil and petroleum products to Ukraine," the head of the cabinet said.
Medvedev also announced an expansion of the ban on imports of some Ukrainian goods.
