Tymoshenko not to challenge election results in court
2 of April 2019 г.
Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko has stated that she will not demand a recount of election results.
She stated this at a press conference on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“We will not go to court," said Tymoshenko, adding that “courts will not pass really true verdicts on the falsifications that took place."
The presidential elections in Ukraine were held on March 31. With 98.98% of the ballots counted, Volodymyr Zelensky got 30.23% of the vote, Petro Poroshenko – 15.92%, Yulia Tymoshenko – 13.40%. Thus, Volodymyr Zelensky and Petro Poroshenko enter the second round of presidential elections.
