Russian occupation forces violated ceasefire seven times, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements twice, in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.
“In the zone of action of tactical force ‘East’, the Russian-led forces used hand-held grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions near Novomykhailivka (28km south-west of Donetsk); heavy machine guns – near Starohnativka (51km south of Donetsk) and Krasnohorivka (21km west of Donetsk); heavy machine guns and small arms – in the area of Lebedynske (16km east of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports on Facebook. In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy fired 122mm artillery and 82mm mortars on Ukrainian troops near Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk); heavy machine guns and small arms – in the area of Novotoshkivske (53km west of Luhansk); small arms – outside Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk). As a result of shelling, two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded. The Joint Forces adequately returned fire, having annihilated three invaders and wounded five more.
