“On February 5, the Donetsk Regional Military and Civil Administration hosted a meeting of Chairman of the Donetsk Regional Military and Civil Administration Oleksandr Kuts, First Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Yevhen Vilinsky, and heads of the departments with Defense Attaché of the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation in Ukraine Urs Sulser,” the press service of the Donetsk Regional Military and Civil Administration reports.

As noted, the parties discussed the socio-economic and military-political situation in the region, functioning of the entry-exit checkpoints, as well as the situation with the internally displaced persons in the region.

Kuts noted that the attraction of international technical assistance is one of the priorities of the social and economic development of Donetsk region.

Providing the IDPs with housing and helping the citizens, who live on the contact line, are the most relevant issues for the region now, he noted.

Sulser expressed deep concern about the military-political situation in Donetsk region.
