Militants launched nine attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements twice, on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.
“In the zone of action of tactical force ‘East’, the enemy fired automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns on Ukrainian positions near Pavlopol (25km north-west of Mariupol); heavy machine guns outside Novoselivka (16km west of Luhansk),” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.
In the zone of action of tactical force ‘North’, militants used grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian troops in the area of Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk); heavy machine guns and small arms near Novotoshkivske (53km west of Luhansk); automatic grenade launchers outside Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk); grenade launchers of different systems near Zaitseve (50km north-east of Donetsk); grenade launchers outside Zolote-4 (59km west of Luhansk); 82mm mortars near Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk).
No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported over the past day.
Today, the enemy has not opened fire yet.
