Russian-backed militants launched eight attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements twice, on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day.
“Over the past day, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions outside Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports. The terrorists fired grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. The enemy used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian troops near Krymske and weapons on BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle near Chermalyk. Ukrainian soldiers were neither killed nor wounded in the shelling in last day. According to the intelligence, two militants were killed and five more were wounded over the past day. Today, the illegal armed formations have already launched one attack on positions of the Joint Forces outside Krasnohorivka. Heavy weapons have not been used. другие новости
