Tymoshenko enjoys widest support among presidential candidates, followed by Zelenskyi, Poroshenko, Hrytsenko, Boiko, – survey

Some 13.4 percent of Ukrainians are ready to vote in the first round of presidential elections for leader of the All-Ukrainian Batkivschyna Party, Yulia Tymoshenko, 7.6 percent for showman Volodymyr Zelenskyi, incumbent President Petro Poroshenko and Civic Position Party head Anatolii Hrytsenko - 7 percent , and Opposition Bloc Party head Yurii Boiko – 6.9 percent.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, these are the findings of the joint survey conducted by Social Monitoring, the Yaremko Ukrainian Institute of Social Research, Kyiv International Institute of Sociology and the Rating sociological group.

Poll results show that 18.9 percent of those who have already made decision on the candidate and will definitely vote at the presidential elections are ready to support Tymoshenko, Zelenskyi - 10.7 percent, Hrytsenko and Zelensky – 9.9 percent and Boiko – 8 percent.

Some 75.8 percent of respondents said that they definitely intended to vote in the presidential elections in Ukraine or were likely to go to the polls, while 19.5 percent said they would not vote for sure or were inclined not to participate.

Some 13,684 respondents were interviewed. The survey was conducted from Sept. 28 to Oct. 16, 2018 throughout Ukraine, with the exception of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The margin of error does not exceed 0.85 percent.
