Russian-backed militants launched 30 attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements twice, on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day - Ukrinform.
“Russian-occupation troops fired 120mm and 82mm mortars, weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Over the past day, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions outside Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk), Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol), Zolote (67km north-east of Luhansk), Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), Novohryhorivka (60km north-east of Donetsk), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Nevelske (18km north-west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports. Illegal armed formations shelled the JFO units outside Novoluhanske, using 120mm mortars, and near Lebedynske, using 82mm mortars. The weapons on infantry fighting vehicles were used to fire on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Novohryhorivka. No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported in last day. According to the intelligence, three militants were killed, three more were wounded.
