Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman proposes to increase the defense budget for 2019 by UAH 23 billion up to UAH 201 billion - Ukrinform.
"Yesterday, at the National Security and Defense Council’s meeting, I proposed to increase the defense budget for 2019 by UAH 23 billion compared to the current year - up to UAH 201 billion," the head of government wrote on his Facebook page. Groysman believes that the effective use of such budget will provide an opportunity not only to upgrade weapons but also to increase the salaries of our military officers. As Ukrinform reported, the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine adopted the main parameters of the defense budget for 2019.
