German foreign minister paying working visit to Ukraine

German Federal Foreign Minister Heiko Maas is on a working visit to Ukraine from May 31 to June 1.
This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine.
"Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas will hold negotiations on strengthening cooperation with a view to resolving politically the military conflict in Donbas. Klimkin and Maas will make a general trip to Donetsk region to assess the situation in the region," the report says.
The Foreign Ministry notes that Heiko Maas visits Ukraine for the first time in a position of German foreign minister.
