Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on support for Ukrainian shipbuilding.
The documents were signed during a speech by the head of state at the Nibulon plant in Mykolaiv on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported. "Today I am signing the law on support for shipbuilding in Ukraine. This law introduces amendments to the Customs Code for the preservation and development of the domestic shipbuilding industry," Poroshenko said. In addition, he signed a motion for the submission to the Verkhovna Rada of a bill on ratification of an agreement with the European Investment Bank for a total of 300 million euros for the development of railway infrastructure in Mykolaiv region.
