In Donetsk direction, terrorists fired 122mm artillery on Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) and Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), 120mm mortars – near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). Defenders of Lebedynske came under 82mm mortars, heavy machine guns and small arms. Militants used grenade launchers of different systems outside Shyrokyne, Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). In addition, illegal armed formations opened fire from heavy machine guns near Pyshchevyk (25km north-east of Mariupol) and Kamyanka, weapons on infantry combat vehicles – near Vodiane, small arms – near Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Pervomaiske, Nevelske (18km north-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk) and Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk). ATO troops outside Pisky also came under sniper fire.

In Luhansk direction, militants shelled strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), using grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. ATO troops outside Katerynivka (64km west of Luhansk) and Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk) came under grenade launcher fire.

Three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in enemy shelling. They were delivered to medical institutions and provided with the necessary medical assistance.
