According to Ukrtransgaz, average transit volumes in the period from February 20 to March 2 amounted to 239,300,000 cubic meters. At the same time, on March 1-2, transit volumes increased due to cold weather and amounted to 264,500,000 cubic meters and 267,600,000 cubic meters respectively.
As Ukrinform reported, NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine on March 2 stated that it continued to deliver Russian gas to EU countries despite Gazprom's statements about its intention to terminate existing gas supply and transit contracts with Ukraine.
