One Ukrainian soldier was killed, another two were wounded in the area of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in Donbas over the past day.
Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s spokesman for ATO issues Dmytro Hutsuliak said this at a briefing on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. "One our 38-year-old defender was killed in enemy shelling in the ATO area yesterday at about 10 p.m. Our deepest condolences to the relatives and fellow soldiers of our defender. In addition, two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in shelling. Our defenders were immediately taken to mobile hospitals. The state of health of one serviceman is satisfactory, the state of another one is moderately severe," Hutsuliak said. According to him, in general, militants fired 11 times at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past day. The Ukrainian side was forced to return fire 7 times.
