Groysman urges that Ukrainian electoral system be changed
9 of February 2018 г.
Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said that the current electoral system in Ukraine should be changed so that to eliminate possible vote-buying.
He said this during Government Question Hour meeting held in the Verkhovna Rada today, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The current electoral system corrupts the electoral process. It became the norm in our country when people buy votes. We have a chance to change it, we need to create a normal transparent system," Groysman stressed.
He also called on the government, parliament and president to unite and together "return one's self-respect for every Ukrainian."
